IGNOU extends date for submissioin of forms

CHANDIGARH: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to accept the application forms with late fee for BA, Bcom, BTS, BCA, MA (English) and MA (Hindi) up to August 14 for the academic session July 2003. University will now accept the applications with a late fee of Rs 200. People who were not able to fill up applications by due date (July 31) will be able to submit the application form.UC Pandey, Regional Director of IGNOU for Punjab & Chandigarh said that university has also decided to provisionally admit all such students who are not able to submit the proof of their qualifying examination by the last date for submitting the application forms. This decision has been taken to facilitate the students who are awaiting the result of qualifying examinations. These students would now be given provisional admission based on an undertaking signed by them. However they have to submit proof of qualifying examination by 30th September 2003.
